Der Auftritt von Modcom im Rahmen der “Depeche Mode - More Than A Party” in Leipzig am 28.02.2009 ist leider aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ausgefallen. Ronan bedauert sehr, das diese Show so kurzfristig abgesagt werden musste.  Er nahm am Sonnabend noch eine Nachricht auf, die sich an alle Gäste der Depeche Mode-Party richtete und zugleich die Hintergründe für die Absage des Konzerts beleuchtete. Das Statement war dann am Abend während der Party zu hören.

Hier das Statement von Ronan:

“I want to sincerely apologise to anyone who came to the Modcom show in Leipzig on Saturday, February 28th. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to a problem with a pinched nerve in my knee which made it difficult to move around, as it was extremely painful. It upsets me a lot when I have to come to a decision like this as I don’t want to let people down who come to see a show. Unfortunately, problems like this do happen.

I would like to thank the promoter, for giving me the chance to record a message, explaining the reasons for the cancellation, which was played at the party. We will try to reschedule the show for the soonest date possible.”
